Why we started, and what we are trying to do.
How it began
We started repairing laptops in a two-metre stall and selling the odd charger on the side. The chargers paid better, but the repairs taught us which brands come back and which do not. So we sell a short list. Six brands, nothing we have not had open on the bench, and every box tested on the counter before it leaves. It means we carry less than the shop next door. It also means we can tell you which of two laptops will still be worth having in three years.
